Clearing My Mind at Midnight

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with night workouts. They clear my head. I don’t have much time in my day since I work so much; yet, the one thing I love more than anything is to spend as much time as possible outdoors – day or night. A lot of what I do, my job, is at a computer or looking at a screen – you lose yourself, you create a false sense of reality. I don’t want to end up that way, so that’s why when I’m home or when I have some free time, I try to get out and enjoy the world.

This year, I made a promise I will remember what’s important, travel as much as possible and to stay open minded. My cousin from England used to always tell me, “The world is yours for the taking.” I didn’t realize how true that really is. I think of things in a more cultured and sophisticated manner now. I want experiences. I want passion. I want adventure. I want memories.

Excuse my ramblings, just thinking out loud.
