I am a visual person by nature, I always have been. I like the layout of things, how images fall into 3×3 and the story you can tell by mixing and matching. However, I am super particular as well. I know exactly when I like something or when I don’t that’s why for me, it’s important that I constantly stay engaged with new sights, art or visit new places.
I always prefer the final product. The mystery. I like to leave the story to the imagination. That’s probably why I prefer Instagram and Pinterest over Snapchat or Twitter, because the story is yours to own. When you look at it, you feel a certain way which may be different to every person. That’s at least what I aim for with my Instagram posts, an artistic way to show people my life and what’s in my mind. Some may call this vain and I’ll accept that, but I feel if you can’t express yourself in an artistic way, then you aren’t being true to yourself.
Anywho, in an effort to stay inspired and creative, I’ve made an inspo wall in my room with tears from some of my favorite magazines. Every month I’ll be updating this wall with ideas that inspire me that I plan to implement in my future work or just cool shit. Something super simple for you to do at home too!
